Four Arrested This Past Week

The following is an excerpt from the Reading Police Department log from Monday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Arrests

At 11:48 a.m. Tuesday, Nicholas S. Vlachos, 22, of 123 Pine Ridge Rd. was arrested on Pine Ridge Road on a warrant.

At 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Joseph S. Goodstal, 36, of 62 Belmont St. was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery. 

At 11:29 a.m. Thursday, Carlos S. Serpa, 28, of 708 Broadway, Everett was arrested on Boyce Street on a warrant.

At 5:58 p.m. Thursday, as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Lowell Street, Mateo Nolasco Lopez, 21, of 154 Lawton Ave., Lynn was arrested on charges of operating without a license and failure to operate a motor vehicle safely.

Monday, May 20

  • At 9:16 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. The accident was minor.
  • At 9:54 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Sanborn Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 4:20 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. No injuries were reported.

Tuesday, May 21

  • At 2:36 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. The injuries were unknown.
  • At 4:23 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on West Street. The injuries were unknown.
  • At 6:48 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. The injuries were unknown.
  • At 7:46 p.m., a caller reported that two males were possibly shoplifting at CVS.

Wednesday, May 22

  • At 1 p.m., an officer found needles on Main Street.

Thursday, May 23

  • At 7:41 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 5:30 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. Injuries were reported.
