Hot Off the T: Shakespeare On The Common

(All events are in walking distance from Orange Line stops on the MBTA.)

• SHAKESPEARE ON THE COMMON
  The comedy "All's Well That Ends Well" has a special 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday. Shows also at 8 p.m. Saturday and 7 p.m. Sunday. At the Parkman Bandstand on the Boston Common. All shows are free.
  Take the commuter rail to North Station, then the Orange Line to Downtown Crossing and then walk 2 minutes to the Boston Common.
• COMEDIAN CRAIG FERGUSON: The Late, Late Show host comes to the Wilbur Theater on Sunday at 6 p.m. Tickets are $78.45.
  Take the commuter rail to North Station, then  the Orange Line to Chinatown Station and then walk 5 minutes to the theater.

• : The play, "Bug" sounds pretty disturbing, but maybe in a good way? The gist: A cocktail waitress invites a Gulf War veteran to her seedy motel room and strangeness ensues. On Saturday at 8 p.m. at  in the South End. Tickets cost $5-$15 and can be purchased here.
  Take the commuter rail to North Station, then  the Orange Line to Back Bay Station and then walk 15 minutes to the theater.

• WINSLOW HOMER ILLUSTRATIONS: On display at the Boston Public Library. Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. More than 50 illustrations of rural life in America, the brutality of the Civil War, and the changing roles of women.
  Take the commuter rail to North Station, then  the Orange Line to Back Bay Station and then walk 5 minutes to the library.

• SEE A MOVIE: Recently released films at the AMC Lowes Boston Common theater include Cowboys and Aliens, Captain America, the latest Harry Potter flick, Smurfs 3-D, and Zookeeper (parts of which were filmed at the Franklin Park Zoo).
