Jewelry Missing from Home on John Street, Reading

The following is an excerpt from the log from Monday through Tuesday. The information is open to the public.
Monday, Aug. 20
- At 1:52 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on General Way. No injuries were reported.
- At 3:32 p.m., a caller reported that a male on a skateboard took a Red Bull from CVS. Police were unable to locate the male.
- At 7:47 p.m., an Emerson Street resident reported that someone used her credit card without her permission.

- At 10:24 a.m., a caller reported that youths were spitting gum at cars on Prescott Street. The youths were gone when police arrived.
- At 8:00 p.m., an Auburn Street resident reported that a group of youths gathered in front of her house and she believes that she saw a drug transaction. Police checked the area, but the youths were gone when they arrived.
- At 8:34 p.m., a John Street resident reported eight pieces of jewelry missing. Police are investigating.
