Dockser served as chair of the select board for one year and secretary for the other two, during which time he said the board made progress on supporting the town's schools, understanding the needs of seniors for services and better facilities, expanding community resources like the Birch Meadow development project and the town forest, standing up for equity and social justice and advancing energy savings and sustainability efforts.

"Even with the challenges of COVID, we have been able to keep residents safe and secure, continue the operations of the town, and lead a variety of efforts for the benefit of the residents, visitors, and businesses in town," he said.
