Family: My husband, Peter, and children, Tim (20) and Page (16). 

Why Reading: When we were just married, I was in graduate school in Cambridge and Peter had gotten a job in Boston, so we looked for houses in towns within a commutable distance. We loved Reading right away, and have been here ever since.

Favorite Music: Classical music, Broadway show-tunes

Other interests: Community work. Currently I am involved with town-wide campaign to raise funds to preserve the Steeple & Bell Tower at . Visit our website for more information: www.readingsteeple.org. We are hoping to get everyone in town to donate a little, or maybe even a lot, so that this precious town landmark can be preserved and maintained. We need to raise $130,000 and it is a daunting amount. Also, I am involved with the Drama program's parent group, Parents Supporting Student Theater and with the Friends of .

Favorite Movie: So many -- Singing in the Rain, The King's Speech, and most recently, Brave

Favorite Book: As a library lover, I cannot pick just one -- but for a great list, I suggest visiting the Friends facebook page

Favorite Restaurant: Rialto, in Cambridge

Fun Facts: We have two dogs, Ursa and Cassie, both are loving and mischievous Labrador retrievers, yellow and black. I often walk them in the Town Forest in Reading.
