Due to weather forecasts, the North Reading Parks and Recreation Department's Concert and Barbecue series is postponed. Thundershowers are expected north and west of Boston.   According to Parks and Rec, the gazebo picnic area at is already soaking wet from last night's rain. They cannot set up their cooking equipment if there is going to be rain today. The entertainment for this week is re-scheduled to Wednesday, August 22 and next Wednesday, August 8th Jenny the Juggler and The Rampage Trio will perform.
