Pamplemousse Coming to Haven Street
The European inspired boutique will sell specialty kitchen gadgets, gourmet foods, wine and more.

Pamplemousse, which already has a store in Salem, is opening another location in Reading on Haven Street. Owners Diane Manahan and Angela Lordi are looking forward to opening in town. They secured the town's last available package store license at the selectmen's meeting last week.
The store will be located at 26 Haven St. and will feature anything a gourmet cook would want to have, Manahan said. They will stock fine boutique wines, local and European craft beer, kitchen gadgets "that you won't find at Target," specialty gourmet foods including homemade pasta, decor and more.
The owners plan to host wine education classes and wine tastings at the new shop. They will help you pair food and wine or wine and cheese.

"If you are entertaining, you love food, you love wine, this is the place to go," Manahan said.
A chef will stop by the store each week to make meals that shoppers can purchase and bring home to heat up. You can get an entire meal at the store including artisan bread and gourmet coffee.

They plan to open "if the contractors are good to us" on July 15. If not, September 1. They plan to be open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. However, they will have expanded hours during the holiday season.
