PMC Kids Ride Dedicated to Young Reading Resident
Jenna Laplante, 2, has been battling cancer for most of her life.

The Swansons started the Reading PMC Kids Ride three years ago when the children in the family wanted to raise money for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute after their uncle died of colon cancer. This year, the ride will be dedicated to their uncle as usual, but also to two-year-old Reading resident Jenna Laplante who has been battling cancer for most of her young life.
"I am so thrilled to announce that this years PMC Kids Ride in Reading will be dedicated, not only to my brother in law Brian Swanson, but also to this beautiful girl Jenna, a Reading resident who has been battling cancer for most of her life," Julie Swanson said. "Please join us to raise money to find new treatments and cures that may help this beautiful, courageous, and amazing girl."
Sign your kids up today online and start fundraising. The PMC ride will take place on June 23.
