Police: Dog Left in Parked Vehicle in Reading

In the latest police log from Monday, June 22, Reading Police reported a dog was left in a car on Walkers Brook Drive and a Samsung Galaxy S5 cell phone was taken from the porch of a residence.

At 1:24 a.m., police received a call stating a female needed a person removed from 109 Hopkins St.

At 1:52 a.m., a Reading Police officer came upon a suspicious motor vehicle in a parking lot at 212 Main St.
At 3:07 a.m., an officer stopped two males walking on Avon Street.

At 9:22 a.m., a residence reported a mailbox stolen from 85 Eastway. The mailbox was later found.

At 11:10 a.m., police reported a dog was left in a 2004 brown Ford vehicle at 60 Walkers Brook Drive and Home Depot.
At 1:50 p.m., police report a Samsung Galaxy S5 cellphone was taken from the front porch of a residence.
At 3:01 p.m., a man reported receiving numerous scam telephone calls.
At 7:07 p.m., Reading Police received a report of a red pickup truck operating erratically in the area of Birch Meadow Drive and Main Street.
