Police: Drug Paraphernalia Found on Town Sidewalk

In the latest police log from Wednesday, June 24, Reading Police reported bike parts were stolen and a motor vehicle crash near Market Basket.

Here are excerpts from the Wednesday, June 24 Reading Police log:

At 12:44 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious motor vehicle near their Dana Road home. Police reported the area was dark and no vehicle description was provided.

At 7:19 a.m., an officer took a report of stolen bike parts in the area of High Street and depot parking.

At 8 a.m., police received reports of an ongoing issue of construction trucks speeding at 101 Willow St. and Austin Prep.

At 12:53 p.m., Reading Police reported a minor motor vehicle crash at 30 General Way and Market Basket. No injuries were reported.

At 1:24 p.m., police reported making an arrest at 335 Main St. due to outstanding warrants.

At 3:24 p.m., drug paraphernalia was found on the sidewalk in front of a house at 50 Bond St.

At 4:58 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious motor vehicle in the area of Beaver Road and Latham Lane. The complaint reports a male in a green Honda Odyssey appearing to follow youths.

At 5:12 p.m., Reading Police reported two dogs -- one chocolate lab and one collie -- were running lose in the area of Salem Street and Libby Avenue.
