In the latest police log from Sunday, June 21, Reading Police reported a landlord struck a tenant in the face and a vehicle crashed into a fence and fled the scene.

At 12:05 a.m., police received reports of kids yelling and swearing in the Market Basket parking lot, located at 30 General Way.

At 1:47 a.m., police received a report of a possible suspicious vehicle. A Howes tow truck parked on the street at 27 Line Road, possible illegal activity.
At 3:33 a.m., a neighbor reported seeing a man with a flash light entering a residence on Sandra Lane.

At 10:11 a.m., police received report of people possibly living in the woods behind a residence at 151 Village St.

At 11:14 a.m., a two-car motor vehicle crash occurred at 60 Walkers Brook Drive. No injuries were reported.
At 12:20 p.m., the train gates at 413 Main St. were reportedly stuck down.
At 3:08 p.m., a 2001 blue Dodge reportedly hit a fence at 114 Salem St. and fled the scene.
At 6:36 p.m., police received a report of simple assault after a landlord struck a tenant in the face at 1136 Main St.
