In the latest police log from Monday, July 6, Reading Police reported several complaints of suspicious persons in town and a resident reported receiving threatening phone calls.

At 11:44 a.m., police reported branches were blocking the road in the area of Forest Glen Street and Wells Road.

At 2:04 p.m., a vehicle’s tire and rim were damaged by construction in the area of Main Street and the railroad tracks.
At 2:05 p.m., police reported a hydrant at Linden and Woburn streets was out of service.

At 2:52 p.m., Reading Police reported a Lowell Street resident was receiving threatening phone calls.

At 5:21 p.m., Reading Police reported a dog was locked in a 2008 gray Jeep Grand Cherokee at 30 General Way and Market Basket.
At 7:42 p.m., police received a suspicious vehicle report as an unoccupied post officer minivan was parked outside a Hartshorn Street residence.
At 8:22 p.m., police received a suspicious persons report of a man in a white shirt talking to himself in the area of Highland Avenue and Lowell Street.
At 9:24 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious person entering Dunkin’ Donuts, located at 273 Salem St.
