Public Works Week and More in Five Things

Today is Monday, May 20. Here are five things to know today:

1. Weather. The temperature will reach 77 degrees today with a low of 45. Expect partly cloudy skies. 

2. Reading Public Works week. This week is Public Works week in Reading. The goal of the week is to acknowledge public works officials and all they do.

3. North Reading Board of Selectmen. The Board of Selectmen will meet at North Reading Town Hall at 7 p.m. Information hearings on articles contained in the June Town Meeting Warrant will start at 8 p.m.  

4. Rising Stars Camp. Register for the Rising Stars Camp at Union Congregational Church. Children will hone their musical theatre skills from July 22-26 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

5. Zumba. Head to the Reading Senior Center for a Zumba class at 9:15 a.m. The cost is $5.
