Rain, Fog Coming for Reading This Week

More rain on the way for Reading. Check out forecast for Reading this week.

More rain will be making its way to Reading this week, forecasters say.

Monday afternoon showers are expected, mainly before 5 p.m., with and 80 percent chance of rain. Also, patchy fog between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. is expected, according to the National Weather Service.

The rain will continue into Monday night, mainly between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., then occasional drizzle after 9 p.m., the NWS said. Areas of fog will emerge after 9 p.m.

Here’s the forecast for the next few days from the National Weather Service:

  • Tuesday: A chance of showers, mainly after 4 p.m. Areas of fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. Light and variable wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
  • Tuesday Night: A chance of showers, mainly before 7 p.m. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 60. South wind 5 to 7 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
  • Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 76. North wind around 8 mph becoming east in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.
  • Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 56.
  • Thursday: A chance of showers after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 73. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
  • Thursday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
