Reading Is One Of The Best Small Cities In America, Ranking Says

READING, MA — WalletHub is out with a new list of the best small cities in America, and Reading made the cut.

The personal finance website examined 43 indicators of livability in more than 1,300 cities with populations between 25,000 and 100,000. These ranged from housing costs and school system quality to restaurants per capita.

Reading came in at No. 5, and was among eight Massachusetts communities ranked in the top 20. See the full list below:

18. Burlington, MA
19. Leawood, KS
20. Southlake, TX

Reading was also tied for second with Milton, Lexington, Los Altos, California and The Villages, Florida for highest percentage of insured population.
