Reading Announces 2 October Flu Clinics

Here's how Reading residents can schedule an appointment to get a free flu shot.

READING, MA — The Reading Health Department will give out seasonal flu vaccinations at the Pleasant Street Center in October. To ensure everyone's safety, the clinic will be by appointment only.

Clinics will take place Tuesday, Oct. 20 and Thursday, Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call Kristine Harris at 781-205-8857 or Alyse Warren at 781-942-6693 and leave a message. You will be called back to book your appointment.

Be sure to wear short sleeves and bring your insurance card. Do not get a flu shot if you are allergic to eggs or any other component of the vaccine.

COVID-19 guidelines require attendees to wear a mask and keep a distance of at least six feet at all times.
