Reading Female Arrested on Charges of Breaking and Entering

The following is an excerpt from the Reading Police Department log from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.
Arrests
At 4:58 p.m. Sunday, Talia Piazza, 18, of 56 Bay State Road was arrested on Bay State Road on charges of breaking and entering during the day with the intent to commit a felony, larceny from a building and using a motor vehicle in commission of felony.

Friday, March 15
- At 11:12 a.m., a caller reported that an he made arrangements with an unknown male to exchange $12 million and a Mercedes for a $500 green dot Walmart card. An officer explained that this was a scam and passed the information on to detectives.
- At 1:57 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. The accident was minor.
- At 10:42 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious male wearing a brown hoodie walking on Lowell Street. Police spoke with the male, gave him a breathalyzer test and held him in protective custody. The officer gave the male a ride home and released him to the custody of his parents.
- At 11:21 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious female on Green Street. The female was placed in protective custody and transported to the hospital.

- At 5:47 a.m., a caller reported that a male was attempting to open the door at the Reading Quick Stop when the store was not open. Police spoke to the male who said he did not know that the store was closed and was just looking for a cup of coffee.
- At 9:45 a.m., as the result of a motor vehicle stop, a Danvers resident was summonsed on charges of unlicensed operation and excessive noise.
- At 12:18 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 4:59 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 7:16 p.m., a caller reported that his car was hit on Ash Street while parked.
Sunday, March 17
- At 1:15 a.m., an employee from Chili's reported that an intoxicated male attempted to order drinks at the restaurant. As a result of the call, a Charlestown male was held in protective custody and later released to his grandmother.
- At 7:14 p.m., a caller reported that his car was hit while parked at Chili's.
