Reading Home Sales Fall in January

Reading home sales decreased in January of 2013 compared to January of 2012, according to the latest figures from The Warren Group. 

In Reading, 11 single-family homes were sold in January of this year, which is a15.38 percent decrease compared to January of 2012 when 13 were sold. 

The median sale price of a single-family Reading home decreased 5.75 percent in 2013 to $490,000 from $519,900 in 2012. 

Condo Sales Down in Reading 

Reading condo sales decreased 50 percent in January of 2013, with three sold compared to the six sold in January of 2012.  

Reading's median sale price of a condo fell from January in 2013 to $165,000, a 43.10 percent decrease from January 2012's median sale price of $290,000.
