Reading Looks To Fill Board Vacancies

The town has vacancies on at least four boards, according to the office of Town Manager Fidel Maltez.

READING, MA – Reading residents interested in a seat at the table in town government have a chance to be appointed to one of several vacant positions on town boards and commissions, as noted on the town’s website.

The office of Town Manager Fidel Maltez reiterated a call for applicants on Thursday. There are currently vacancies on the Climate Advisory Committee, the Conservation Commission, the Cultural Council and the Zoning Board of Appeals.

“Have some free time on your hands? Ever considered volunteering,” Maltez’s office asked.

Interested residents are invited to complete and return the town’s application form, which is available online.
