Reading Parking Lots To Close For Work: See Schedule

READING, MA — The town is re-sealing stamped concrete areas in parking lots and traffic islands starting Tuesday. Lots will be closed while work is conducted.

See the schedule of closures below. Work is weather-dependent and subject to change.

Tuesday July 13 – Parking lot in front of 16 Lowell Street (Town Hall)

• Clean / prep area - 7am to 10am
• Apply 1st coat of sealer - 10am to 1pm
• Apply 2nd coat of sealer - 3pm to 5pm
• Keep parking lot closed to dry overnight.

Wednesday July 14 – Parking lot in front of 650 Main Street (CVS Pharmacy); after opening parking lot in front of 16 Lowell Street (Town Hall)

• Clean / prep area - 7am to 10am
• Apply 1st coat of sealer - 10am to 1pm
• Apply 2nd coat of sealer - 3pm to 5pm
• Keep parking lot closed to dry overnight.

Thursday July 15 – Parking lot at the SW corner of Main Street at Haven Street; after opening parking lot in front of 650 Main Street (CVS Pharmacy)

• Clean / prep area - 7am to 10am
• Apply 1st coat of sealer - 10am to 1pm
• Apply 2nd coat of sealer - 3pm to 5pm
• Keep parking lot closed to dry overnight.

Friday July 16 - Traffic islands at various locations (9am to 5pm)

• Traffic island on Oakland Road at Birch Meadow Drive
• Traffic island on Lowell Street (westerly of Grove Street)
• Traffic island on Lowell Street (easterly of Grove Street)
• Traffic island on Walkers Brook Drive (John Street to Lakeview Avenue)
