Reading Resident and Two Others Charged After Target Baby Formula Theft

Three different kinds of prescription drugs were discovered in the vehicle after they were stopped.

A Reading resident and two other Massachusetts residents were charged after a report of baby formula theft from Target in Salem, N.H. led to the discovery of drugs in their vehicle.

Salem Police said they charged Cole Nephew, 28, of Haverhill, with three counts of felony willful concealment; Michael Eno, 44, of Lawrence, with receiving stolen property, operating without a license, possession of a controlled drug and unregistered motor vehicle; and Michelle Donaher, 28, of Reading, with two willful concealment counts, two felony controlled drug possession counts and receving stolen property.

At about 10:45 a.m. police were called to Target for a report of theft of baby formula. Loss prevention at the store reported 24 cans of formula had been stolen by two males and a female.

Police learned the formula was valued at over $600 and the suspects had left the area in a green Honda with Massachusetts license plates.

Officers were able to locate and stop the vehicle in the area of 63 Lawrence Road. While investigating, police said officers found another 14 cans of formula valued at over $300, which was later determined to have been stolen from Walmart.

In addition, police said they small quantities of three types of prescription drugs including Suboxone, Clonopin and Seraquel.

Police said they took the suspects into custody and were later booked and brough to the 10th Circuit Court of Salem. None of the three could make bail and were later transported to Rockingham County jail.
