Reading Resident Arrested on Charges of Discharging a Firearm

Daniel Green, 28, of 5 Washington St. Apt. C9 was arrested on seven charges after allegedly firing a gun Sunday.

According to Reading Police, Daniel Green, 28, of 5 Washington St. Apt. C9 was arrested Sunday on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, improper storage of a firearm, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and unlawful possession of class B and C substances. 

Police responded to 5 Washington St. Apt. C9 at 12:10 a.m. on Sunday after a caller reported hearing gun shots. According to a recent release, a resident allegedly fired a gun inside the Washington Street apartment. No injuries were reported, police said.

Green was arrested at the scene on seven charges and will be arraigned Monday in Woburn District Court.
