Reading Resident Owns Business Featured in Inc. Magazine

Tenon Tours, a local tour operator, was named the number one fastest growing travel company in the United States by Inc. magazine. President of Tenon Tours Bryan Lewis lives in Reading with his wife and five children.

Tenon Tours specializes in custom trips to Ireland and the United Kingdom, however, they will create a personalized trip to anywhere in the world, Lewis said. Lewis launched the business in January of 2008 in Peabody and moved it to Stoneham in 2010.

The trips Tenon Tours arranges are not rigid with strict itineraries. What they offer is more customized, with flexible options for travelers who like to pick and choose what they do when they travel, Lewis said.

Tenon Tours has a team of sales people and travel specialists that work with clients and ensure they are fulfilling their needs as travelers, he said.

"You’re always in touch with the travel specialist and being guided through the process from step one," he explained. 

Just last week they received the news that Inc. Magazine named them the number one fastest growing travel company in the country. They were ranked 200 overall and ninth in the Boston Metro area.

The magazine will hit stands on Friday. You can find Tenon Tours on page 184 in the September issue.

When Lewis found out about the news, he was "thrilled, absolutely thrilled," he said.
