Reading Resident Spends Spring Break Volunteering for Habitat for Humanity

Reading resident Julia West spent her Spring break working at a Habitat for Humanity Housing Site, according to Providence College.
West, a junior at Providence College, took part in the school's Alternative Spring Break 2013 program. She traveled to Athens, Ohio to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity to help build a home for someone in need.
Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian housing organization that builds and rehabilitates simple and affordable houses for those in need of shelter.
