Reading Town Election 2023 Voter Guide: Town Election Is Tuesday
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Reading Memorial High School Field House.

READING, MA — The Annual Town Election for Reading will take place on Tuesday. Here is what Reading residents should know about the election.
The last day to register to vote was March 25.
The offices on the ballot for this election are: Moderator, Select Board, Board of Library Trustees, Municipal Light Board, School Committee, Town Meeting Members.

Residents can vote in person on Election Day, early in-person, by mail or by absentee ballot.
On Election Day, the polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Reading Memorial High School Field House
Residents have multiple options to return their completed Vote-By-Mail/Absentee Ballot:
- Mail it back using the envelope provided.
- Hand-deliver the ballot to the Town Clerk's office at Town Hall, 16 Lowell St., during business hours.
- Return it to the drop box in the Town Hall parking lot marked to accept ballots.
Vote-By-Mail/Absentee Ballots must reach Town Hall by the close of the polls, 8 p.m., on Election Day in order to be counted. Residents must remember that Vote-By-Mail Ballots and Absentee Ballots cannot be dropped off at a polling place on Election Day.
