REF Launches Teacher Tribute Program

The deadline to participate is June 14.

The Reading Education Foundation (REF) is launching a Teacher Tribute Program for Reading Public Schools. The program allows parents to honor a teacher, administrator or staff member by making a donation of $25 or more. The program deadline is Friday, June 14.

If you make a donation, you can include a personal message in the tribute card that the honoree will receive. All of the proceeds from this program will support REF teacher grants next year.

"Teachers have such an important impact on our children's lives, and yet there are few ways to really thank and appreciate them, especially in middle and high school, where this is less parent/teacher interaction," REF Marketing Chair Deborah Gilburg said. "The Teacher Tribute Program is a great way to do that -- and to support the growing Reading Educational Foundation support of teacher innovation in Reading Public Schools. A donation supports teachers on both fronts."
