Road Paving Coming To Reading's Main Street
MassDOT will implement temporary overnight lane closures next week as part of the Route 28 Resurfacing and Paving Project.
READING, MA — MassDOT announced Thursday it will implement temporary overnight lane closures on Route 28 South – Main Street – from Hopkins Street to the intersection of Ash and Bolton Streets for milling and paving work.
Closures will be in effect from 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8 to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, June 9. A minimum of one travel lane in each direction will be maintained at all times.
Signs, police details and messaging will be in place. Drivers should use caution when traveling through the area.

This work is part of a $5.6 million Resurfacing and Improvement Project along a section of Route 28 in Reading.
