School Bus With 18 Children Aboard Crashes In Reading

Three people — two children and one driver — were hurt in the crash. The bus was leaving Camp Rice Moody.

READING, MA — Police are investigating after a school bus with 18 children aboard crashed into a car near a local intersection.

Chief David Clark said officers responded to the crash in the area of Charles and Wakefield streets around 4 p.m.

The school bus was leaving Camp Rice Moody. Two children were injured and treated at the scene, while the female driver was brought to the hospitality injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
