Invention was the name of the game for the fourth week of Art Adventure camp at in Reading. In “ART Games and Inventions” students ages 6-12 devised their own machines, created elaborate treasure hunts and made board games that were anything but boring! Drawing inspiration from inventors such as Margaret Knight, a Massachusetts inventor who revolutionized the flat-bottom paper bag, students postulated their own adjustments to modern-day objects to create new levels of efficiency.
Students ages 3-6 took a leap into the prehistoric world in Mini Masters! “Diggin’ for Dinos” brought out the explorer in students who ventured back to the time of dinosaurs in the fourth week of summer at CREATIVE ARTS. From pterodactyl puppets to clay fossils and paper mache dinosaur eggs, campers learned all about the history of dinosaurs.
