Three to Five Inches of Snow Possible Tonight Into Tuesday
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the Reading area.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter storm warning for the Reading area for Monday night and Tuesday. A coastal storm is headed across the southern New England coast tonight and into tomorrow. Heavy snow is expected.
According to the NWS, snow is expected around 2 a.m. tonight. Three to five inches may accumulate.
Rain, snow and sleet are expected before 4 p.m. Tuesday, with wind gusts as high as 38 miles per hour. An additional two to four inches of snow is possible, the NWS said.

"Tuesday will be a stormy day across the region with snow for just about everyone during the morning rush and mix of snow, sleet and rain along the coast by mid morning and just plain rain for the immediate coast by noon," Jeremy Reiner said in his latest WHDH weather blog.
More rain and snow, between a quarter and half of an inch, is expected Tuesday evening before 10 p.m., according to the NWS.

The snow may continue Wednesday, with snow showers expected before noon.
