1. . Now there are three finalists for town manager and one of the trio is a familiar face: Assistant Town Manager and Finance Director Robert LeLacheur.

2. Assisted Living Facility Proposed at Eric’s Plant Emporium. Where pots of annuals and perennials, along with shrubs, trees and cut flowers were once sold on north Main Street, a facility for frail elders with memory impairments may grow, at the old Eric’s Plant Emporium location. Artis Senior Living proposes to build a 64-unit facility at 1090-1100 Main St. for elders who need help with activities of daily living, such as dressing and eating, consultant for Artis Patrick Mallon told Patch

5. Coolidge Middle School Principal Appointed Assistant Superintendent for Learning and Teaching. Superintendent John Doherty recently announced that Coolidge Middle SchoolPrincipal Craig Martin will be the new Assistant Superintendent for Learning and Teaching. Martin will replace Assistant Superintendent Patty de Garavilla.
