Two Suspicious Vehicles Reported at RMHS This Weekend

Also, police received reports of a motor vehicle crash and a Bible was turned into the police lost and found.

In the latest police log from Saturday, June 13, Reading Police reported several animal complaints and several motor vehicle crashes in the town.

Here are excerpts from the Saturday, June 13 Reading Police log:

At 1:42 a.m., police reported a suspicious motor vehicle. An officer came across two vehicles parked in a lot at 62 Oakland Road and Reading Memorial High School.

At 7 a.m., a large pothole in the roadway near South Street and West Street was reported.

At 9:11 a.m., a resident submitted a motor vehicle complaint concerned with cars blocking oncoming traffic on Summit Drive.

At 9:43 a.m., police performed a needle/syringe pickup. A needle was found in a back lot along a fence line at 650 Main Street.

At 2:09 p.m., a report was made regarding a trailer parked near Bancroft Avenue and Lowell Street. The report cited safety concerns.

At 2:41 p.m., a minor motor vehicle crash on Haven and Main streets was investigated. No injuries reported.

At 6:01 p.m., a Bible was found and turn into the police state.

At 11:14 p.m., a complaint application was filed. Subsequently, at West Street and Arcadia Avenue, a male was placed into protective custody and to be summonsed.
