READING, MA — MassDOT will be doing overnight pavement marking work on Main Street this week, starting at the railroad tracks just before the intersection of Ash Street and Bolton Street and finishing at the Reading-Stoneham town line.

Work will be done 8 p.m.-5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 4 through Friday, Oct. 8.

A minimum of one travel lane in each direction will be maintained at all times. The temporary lane closures and occasional detours are necessary to allow the contractor to safely and effectively install roadway pavement markings, MassDOT said.
