Winter Hill Bank one of Safest Banks in America

In an MSN Money article published July 24, 2012 and titled “The 359 Safest Banks in America”, of North Reading was on the list.

The article states that there are over 7,300 banks in America but only 359 banks nationwide achieved a perfect score. Seven of those banks were from Massachusetts and Winter Hill Bank was one of them. The study used published bank information and a metric called the Texas Ratio, a formula developed to diagnose failing banks.
