After a bout with severe thunderstorms on Tuesday, residents in Reading most likely want some good news about the weather.

The sunshine will continue into Thursday, as forecasters expect it to be mostly sunny with a high near 83. Thursday night, however, there is a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly after 7 p.m., with a low around 59 degrees, according to the NWS.

The chance of rain will continue into Friday, with a 20 percent chance of showers before 1 p.m.
