Interim Salem High Principal Gets Permanent Position

SALEM, MA — Salem Public Schools filled two principal vacancies this week with internal candidates.

Salem High School Interim Principal Samantha Meier was hired to take on the position permanently. The school system also named Bates Elementary School assistant principal Gavin Softic principal of the school. Softic replaces J.J. Munoz, who is leaving to pursue a doctoral degree.
