Salem 1 Kilogram Cocaine Bust: City Man Charged With Drug Trafficking

Salem police said the bust was the result of a month-long investigation into drug activity on Pope Street.

SALEM, MA — A month-long investigation into drug sales out of a Pope Street resident led to the seizure of more than 1 kilogram of cocaine and a city man charged with drug trafficking, according to Salem police.

Police said detectives conducted a search of the Pope Street apartment on Friday and found more than 1 kilogram of cocaine packaged for sale and about $11,000 in cash.

Police said Bryan Brito, 31, was charged with trafficking cocaine more than 200 grams.
