Salem Man Coerced Teen To Send Nude Photos: Prosecutors
Prosecutors say Michael Carr, 39, of Salem, told the girl to send "porn star quality" videos and photos when she was 14.
SALEM, MA — A Salem man was ordered held without bail after being accused of coercing a teenage girl to send him nude photos and videos of herself. Michael Carr, 39, of Salem, pleaded not guilty Monday to charges of indecent assault and battery, three counts of posing a child in a nude or lascivious manner, and two counts of disseminating obscene material to a minor.
Carr, according to court documents, started asking the girl for the photos and offered her marijuana in the fall of 2018, when she was 14. According to the Salem News, which first reported this story, Carr asked the girl for "porn star quality" images and sent her photos as examples of what he wanted to see. He threatened to tell the girl's mother she was vaping if she did not comply with his requests, prosecutors claimed in an indictment.
