Thieves Steal Sanitizer, Gloves From Salem School Buses
The buses are being used to distribute meals to Salem Public Schools families while schools remain shutdown.

SALEM, MA — Thieves broke into at least two school buses parked behind the Collins Middle School in Salem and stole hand sanitizer, gloves and other cleaning supplies.
According to the Salem News, which first reported this story, police were called to the school Friday morning after workers noticed damage to two buses. The buses are being used to distribute meals to Salem Public Schools families.

"Thursday night, someone trashed the buses and took all our sanitation supplies we use for delivering food to families," school department spokesperson Liz Polay-Wettenge told the newspaper. "Gloves, sanitation wipes, hand sanitizer, and more. These are buses we not only use for students, but they are currently being used for food distribution, so they get sanitized every day."
