2018 Sharon Town Election Results: Selectmen Chairman Ousted
There will be two new members of the school committee as well.

SHARON, MA — The chairman of the Sharon Board of Selectmen lost his seat Tuesday night.
John McGrath was defeated by school committee member Emily Smith-Lee 1,388-795. McGrath is off the board following four years as a selectman.
In the school committee race, Kathleen Currul-Dykeman won reelection and will be joined on the committee by newcomers Judith Kay Crosby and Heather Zelevinsky. Mena Mesiha finished fourth.

On the only ballot question, the town remained consistent in their support of recreational marijuana, voting against a ban. In the 2016 presidential election, the town voted in support of state-wide legalization.
