Report: Aquitaine Group Signs Deal on Rocca Space
Italian restaurant reportedly planned for Harrison Avenue space.

surrounding the future of the Harrison Avenue restaurant formerly home to are true, according to South End blogger and foodie BosGuy.
In a recent restaurant gossip post, BosGuy reported that The Aquitaine Group, which already operates four restaurants in the South End, has signed an agreement with GTI Properties on the space and will be opening its first Italian restaurant there sometime in 2012.
A complete remodeling will occur as part of the transformation, BosGuys reported.

The signature round patio and glass-walled bar were previously home to celebrity chef Tiffani Faison, who appeared on Top Chef while running the kitchen at Rocca. Faison announced plans for her next venture, a Southern-style barbecue restaurant called Sweet Cheeks, earlier this summer. The restaurant is slated to open by mid-September at 1381 Boylston Street in the Fenway neighborhood.
