A Boston man made no attempt to pay for several items at CVS on Columbus Ave., walking straight past the cash registers and out the door on Wednesday afternoon, police reported.

Neville Jenkins, 43, of Boston entered the South End pharmacy around 3:15 p.m., employees told police. He then entered the shaving aisle, where he selected seven bottles of Nivea for Men face wash and tucked the items into his jacket, a police report stated.

From there, Jenkins reportedly headed for the door, passing check-out counters along the way.
