Here are the delicious deals and dining options in the neighborhood.

BOSTON, MA — Dine Out Boston 2016, aka Boston Restaurant Week, is fast approaching, and the South End has a long list of tantalizing participants in this year's celebration of food and drink.

The 2016 Dine Out Boston events run Aug. 14-19 and Aug. 21-26. During those days, you can score meals at some of the city's best restaurants priced at $15, $20, or $25 for lunch, and dinners for $28, $33, or $38. Availability of lunch, dinner, or both depends on the restaurant, as does the pricing and number of courses.

It's no surprise the South End has a long list of restaurants on this year's restaurant week list. For those in the neighborhood, it's a good excuse to try somewhere new or visit an old stand-by on a budget. If you haven't ventured to this trendy dining destination yet, this is your chance to discover what you've been missing.
