Five Things: Charity Gala Mixes Soccer and Poetry
America SCORES event scheduled for next Wednesday at the Cyclorama.

Today is Friday, November 4. Here are five things you need to know today.
1. Cooler today, highs in the lower 50s, but still sunny. Wind gusts up to 25 mph.
2. Ever watched a soccer match inside the Cyclorama? We didn't think so. Next Wednesday, Nov. 9 you'll have your chance, and it's all for a great cause. During the 2011 SCORES Celebration watch BPS students play soccer on an indoor field, hear them recite their own poetry about life in their neighborhoods, and enjoy fine cuisine provided by area restaurants. Proceeds benefit America SCORES Boston, an after-school program dedicated to helping at-risk youth through soccer and poetry. Tickets to the event, which starts at 6pm, can be purchased here.
