Five Things: Blackstone Square Halloween Festival
Volunteers are needed on Saturday for both the Halloween celebration and annual tag sale.
Today is Wednesday, October 26. Here are five things you need to know:
1. Cloudy today with rain likely in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 50s.
2. Blackstone Square is celebrating Halloween this Saturday with a featuring pumpkin decorating, face painting, trick-or-treat bags, food trucks and even a beer garden for adults. The event runs from 12-4 p.m. and volunteers are needed to help out for a few hours. Email Dave at friends@blackstonefranklin.org if you're interested.

3. Also on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Blackstone/Franklin Square Neighborhood Association will be holding its annual tag sale to benefit its book scholarship fund. Clean out your closets and drop off items Saturday morning at 9 a.m. in Blackstone Square. Volunteers are also needed, email info@bfsna.org for more info.
4. SoWa is hosting its famous Market of the Living Dead this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Be sure to stop by for 130 artists and designers, food trucks, free treats and a costume contest. (Take a look at last year's costume winner here.)
