Five Things: Eliza Dushku Donates To United South End Settlements
The Watertown native dropped by the South End non-profit to deliver a check last Thursday.

3. 'Dollhouse' star Eliza Dushku stopped by the United South End Settlements last Thursday to present a check for $61,909 to Camp Hale. Dushku said she hoped the contribution would be used to help the boys camp provide a program for girls, the Globe reported. Dushku's brothers and father all went to the camp, located on Squam Lake in New Hampshire.

5. Whole Foods Market’s three Boston stores are holding a 5 Percent Day for the benefit of The Food Project’s Boston Bounty Bucks program. Five percent of the day’s net sales from each store will be donated to help low-income people buy fresh, locally grown produce at participating farmers’ markets throughout Boston.
