Five Things: Ginger Park Chef Announces Cambridge Project
Patricia Yeo will be a partner and chef at Moska in Central Square, Grubstreet reports.

1. Most sunny skies today (what's that, two in a row?!) with temps in the upper 60s and winds dying down to 5 to 10 mph.
2. Patricia Yeo, former chef of the , has announced her next project. According to Grubstreet, Yeo is a partner in the not-yet-opened Moksa in Central Square, where she will also be a chef. She described her vision for the restaurant as "Ginger Park on steroids," serving small plates using "really fresh, fun ingredients."
3. A state trooper was sent to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries after a being hit by a car yesterday morning. The officer was conducting 'speed enforcement duties' shortly after 9 a.m. on the ramp to Route 90 East at 93 North, before the entrance to the Ted Williams Tunnel, when a vehicle struck him. Police are on the lookout for the car: a black, two-door sedan with a light colored interior, possible dark-tinted taillights, and possible dents and scuffs to the right front of the car and windshield. It looks like a late 90s or early 2000 Honda Civic but police don't know for sure. Anyone with any information is asked to contact state police at (508) 820-2121.

4. The Boston Center for the Arts has received a one-year, $100,000 grant by the Ford Foundation to plan a multi-million dollar capital campaign over the next 12 months, the BCA announced. The grant will support three activities: conducting a capital campaign feasibility study; developing a Board development plan; and holding a charette for the Artist Studios Building.
“This is a wonderful endorsement of the BCA's efforts in the last 2½ years to map out a clear vision to better serve as a platform for working artists – both for today and for the future,” said Veronique Le Melle, Executive Director of the BCA.
