Five Things: Police Searching for Suspect in North End Assault

Investigators are asking the public to help identify the suspect.

1. Today's forecast is calling for sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

2. Police have released a sketch of the suspect accused of indecently assaulting a woman in the North End this weekend. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male with gelled black hair, about 5’6”, 150 lbs (slim build) wearing a blue pinstriped shirt and brown khaki pants. Investigators are encouraging anyone who may recognize the suspect to come forward. Anonymous information is welcome.

3. The DCR has extended the season for city pools, spray decks and wading areas through Labor Day "in light of late school openings and anticipated warm weather over the next several days." If you're feeling the heat, here's where you can cool off in Boston until Sept. 5:

4. Rumors are swirling about a second Mexican restaurant opening in the South End. Boston Restaurant Talk reported that Villa Mexico, a small Beacon Hill eatery that currently shares space with Grampy's gas station on Cambridge Street, is thinking about moving to our neighborhood. The gas station where it's currently located is slated for demolition.
