2. Boston's Gay Pride Parade took place Saturday, drawing hords of cheering supporters despite less-than-stellar weather. Check out our photos of the South End set-up and video interviews with onlookers.
3. The seven candidates vying to become At-Large Boston City Councilors will attend a "First in The City" forum, hosted by the Boston Ward 5 Democratic Committee, on Tuesday June 21, at 7 p.m. The forum will be held at the First Church in Boston, at the corner of Marlborough and Berkeley Streets in the Back Bay (66 Marlborough Street), and will be moderated by Boston Phoenix reporter Dave Bernstein. Ahead of the forum, Newton Mayor Setti Warren, who has declared his intentions to run for the United States Senate, will address the community. The public is invited.
