5. A fashion art show featuring clothing and sketches by students at five Boston colleges will go on display tonight at City Hall, Mayor Menino announced. The show, entitled "New Boston: Focus on Fashion," is part of the Cultural Awareness Series begun in 2004 to promote appreciation for Boston's diversity. 

"Boston has long been known as the Athens of America," Menino said in a release. "This exhibition is a perfect example how youth from our various academic institutions continue to influence the world around them.”
